The "Basic Explanation" Series

These are the articles that you might have to read first to be able to better understand some of the more complex ones. I'll try to post a link at the top of any "advanced"articles to remind you to read whatever, but here they are in case I forget.

In this series of articles (which will be written at random times), I'll explain the basic premises of whatever I can think of. They generally are written when I'm writing an article and find that I'm spending way too much space explaining certain concepts, and so I turn that into a post of its own.
